Maleic and fumaric resins, which are generally modified gum rosin esters (modified rosin esters), are used in shoe and floor polish production for various purposes such as binding, gloss retention, anti-slip properties and water and stain resistance.
Fumaric Resin is used to give polishes properties such as gloss, durability and abrasion resistance. Fumaric Resin also improves the polish's adhesion and provides better grip on the surface.
Maleic resin, in turn, increases the flexibility, durability and adhesion of the polish. Maleic resin also improves the polish's water and chemical resistance.
Fumaric and maleic resins can be used together with other resins to improve the performance of shoe and floor polishes and achieve the desired properties.
